Scott Wentworth

Scott Wentworth is an actor, director and theatre writer whose work has been celebrated in Canada, Europe and across the US. As a member of the Stratford Festival acting company for eleven seasons, he has played such roles as Iago in Othello, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Jason in Medea and the title role in Macbeth. He has appeared on Broadway in Shaw's Getting Married, as Count Vronsky in Anna Karenina, as well as Neil Simon's Lost In Yonkers and Welcome To The Club (nominated for a Tony Award). His directing credits include Henry IV (Parts I and II) for the 2001 Stratford Festival, Richard III for Bard On The Beach, The Winter's Tale, Henry V, The School For Scandal and As You Like It for the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival and Candida, Othello and The Magnificent Ambersons for the Indiana Repertory Theatre. Mr. Wentworth has written the books for Gunmetal Blues and Enter the Guardsman (music and lyrics by Craig Bohmler and Marion Adler); His adaptation of Ibsen's Ghosts was presented at the Indiana Repertory Theatre.
